本片時空背景為未來的美國,為了要讓人們可以解放心中的暴戾,政府竟然明言規定,每年固定都會給大家整整12小時的時間來自由的犯罪殺人,完全不需要被法律制裁,很誇張的是,這期間內,警局和醫院也都會緊閉大門,停止運作。
