選擇性的單身 ( You don't want a boyfriend / girlfriend. )

2.  Single and available

等愛中

3.  In a serious relationship

認真交往中 ( You have a steady partner. )

4.  Cohabiting

同居  ( You live together with your partner. )

5.  In a common law marriage / In a de facto marriage

習慣法婚姻 / 事實婚姻  ( Living together and not really married, but are legally recognized as spouses. )

6.  Engaged

訂婚了

---->  fiancé  =  未婚夫

---->  fiancée  =  未婚妻

7.  Married without children

已婚 無孩子

8.  Married with children

已婚 有小孩

9.  Separated

分居  

10.  Divorced

已離婚

11.  Widowed

喪偶

---->  widow  =  寡婦

---->  widower  =  鰥夫

12.  It's complicated
